Terms & Conditions

A legal disclaimer

The explanations and information provided on this page are only general and high-level explanations and information on how to write your own document of Terms & Conditions. You should not rely on this article as legal advice or as recommendations regarding what you should actually do, because we cannot know in advance what are the specific terms you wish to establish between your business and your customers and visitors. We recommend that you seek legal advice to help you understand and to assist you in the creation of your own Terms & Conditions.

Terms & Conditions - the basics

Having said that, Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) are a set of legally binding terms defined by you, as the owner of this website. The T&C set forth the legal boundaries governing the activities of the website visitors, or your customers, while they visit or engage with this website. The T&C are meant to establish the legal relationship between the site visitors and you as the website owner.

T&C should be defined according to the specific needs and nature of each website. For example, a website offering products to customers in e-commerce transactions requires T&C that are different from the T&C of a website only providing information (like a blog, a landing page, and so on).

T&C provide you as the website owner the ability to protect yourself from potential legal exposure, but this may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, so make sure to receive local legal advice if you are trying to protect yourself from legal exposure.

What to include in the T&C document

Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I Need to Provide Cleaning Equipment and Products?

For regular cleaning services, it is recommended that clients supply their own equipment and products to ensure familiarity with the items used in their home. If you prefer the cleaner to provide these, an additional nominal fee will apply. In contrast, for one-time services such as end-of-tenancy or deep cleans, all necessary specialised equipment and products are included as part of the package.

Should I Provide My Cleaner with a Key?

Clients are encouraged to provide a key to their cleaner if it aligns with their preferences. Many of our clients opt for this arrangement, particularly when they are unavailable during scheduled visits, as it facilitates seamless access and convenience. Our rigorous recruitment and background verification processes are designed to instill confidence in this decision.

What Should I Do If I Am Dissatisfied with My Assigned Cleaner?

Certainly, if you are not fully satisfied, please contact our Area Coordinators directly. We will promptly arrange a suitable replacement in a professional and confidential manner to meet your expectations.

How Frequently Can I Schedule Cleaning Services?

Our regular cleaning services can be scheduled on a weekly or fortnightly basis, tailored to your specific routine and requirements. For greater flexibility, we also accommodate monthly or ad-hoc arrangements upon request, ensuring alignment with your lifestyle and household needs.

What Tasks Are Typically Included in a Regular Cleaning Session?

A standard regular cleaning session encompasses essential tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, surface wiping, bathroom and kitchen sanitization, and general tidying. The scope can be customised during your initial consultation to prioritize areas of importance, with additional services like laundry or oven cleaning available as optional add-ons.

How Do I Book or Modify a Cleaning Service?

To initiate or adjust a booking, please contact our team via phone, email, or our online portal. We require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid any fees, and our coordinators will assist in confirming availability and any necessary adjustments.

Are Your Cleaners Insured and Background-Checked?

All our cleaners undergo comprehensive police background checks and receive thorough training in professional cleaning standards. Furthermore, they are fully covered under Public Liability Insurance, providing protection against any potential incidents during service delivery.

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

We accept a variety of secure payment options, including credit cards, bank transfers, and electronic invoicing. Payments are processed post-service for regular engagements, with detailed receipts provided for your records. For one-time services, a deposit may be required upon booking.
